Why are you conducting this survey?

We have stumbled upon a novel problem of adjectivity of adjectives.

Every adjective has a polarity and an intensity. The polarity depends on the context of usage, and there are ways to determine it.

The intensity on the other hand, varies from person to person depending on factors like age, region and ethnicity. It in some sense is associated with the emotion that the speaker possesses.

While a detailed study on these is interesting, our primary interests lie elsewhere. We are only interested in getting an average idea of how these adjectives are used, by analyzing the collective information we get through this survey.

We expect that this survey will help us solve the problem of comparing two similar statements, based on the adjectives used.

Can I access your database?

Access to the database is currently previleged. However, we intend to make it public once we get considerable amount of information that helps us progress. You can contact us if you would like to use it for your own work.

What tools are you using to make this survey?

XAMPP, smartgb (for the comments section) and a text editor. Only freewares.

Can you add a new feature to this for me?

We add features to this all the time. We're open to suggestions from everybody. Just contact us or go to the comments page of the website to specify the feature.

How do I contact you?

You can e-mail to adjektivity AT gmail DOT com. Crack the id in the previous sentence, send roses or throw brick bats. We will receive them all. It will be a great help if you send them with a subject like "Rate an Adjective" or "adjekTivity Survey".
